Many of you know Dr. Lulu Weindruch (Baylor University Medical Center) from her extensive service to the EMRA Ultrasound Committee, the Leadership Academy, the Texas College of Emergency Physicians, or one of the many ways she has supported the profession during training. Now let’s get to know her as the Director of Education for the EMRA Board.


The best advice Lulu's ever heard...

"Attitude is everything."


Q: What’s your first priority as an EMRA Board member?

A: Help facilitate an open line of communication between the board and our members, especially when it comes to issues that impact our educational experience.

 

Q: How do you recharge after a tough shift?

A: By hanging out on a patio with my coworkers.

 

Q: What is something people don’t know about you?

A: One of my proudest moments was meeting the Jonas Brothers in 2008.

 

Q: 1 skill you want but don’t have yet:

A: I would love to be an expert gardener one day.

 

Q: 1 skill you could do without:

A: I can fall asleep anywhere - it's a blessing and a curse.

 

Q: Does pineapple go on pizza? 🍕

A: Yes, I love salty/sweet combos!

 

Q: Favorite comfort food/drink:

A: Chips and queso with a fountain Diet Coke.
