Objectives:
- Review general expectations of applying to/matching in EM - i.e. aways, SLOEs, step 2
- Provide advice about how to excel in clinical rotations, how to relate these to work in the ED.
- Emphasize away rotation timeline
- Learn how to critically assess a program during a virtual or in-person interview and what elements are important to consider when ranking programs.
- Discuss how ResidencyCAS will be implemented this year
- Discuss how to prepare for the emergency medicine virtual or in-person interview, including program research and question development.
